Diesel has decided to take metal to a whole new level. For their fall 2014 collection they put metal almost everywhere possible. From blouses with zipper pockets, to dresses with metal front zippers, to the little black dress with a metal zipper right in front as well. What they did do with all those zippers though is place them in great asymmetrical locations. This way it’s not just a black zip up dress for women, the zipper is on the right side off center on the dress to give it a stylish look and feel. Another design they used is to stitch vertical columns of metallic reflective squares on the female skirts, that when they walk their skirt shines against the lights that hit it. This season for Diesel it’s about leather and metallic shine. Both are used as the main material is various designs and outfits, and both are used as the focal points on otherwise typical clothing, which because of that is not typical at all.
