Going back in time for a Rockabilly vintage revamp, Creative Director Andreas Melbostad gave Diesel Black and Gold’s collection a chic, edgy look with lots of denim and leather for the label’s 2015 Resort. He brought his own interpretation of the fifties era to the table, including slim fit Western shirts, tiger prints, and biker jackets. Old school stud embellishments and floral patterns help give the black, white and red color scheme some more eccentricity and hype.
The brand has gotten more upbeat for the coming year, recruiting new patterns and styles into their repertoire. A rocker-rebel style goes runway model, while once pretty and playful floral patterns are amped up in a sophisticated, yet biker chick way. While playful and rocked out, the collection helped test the label’s commercial looks, as well as high fashion looks, blending different visages, patterns and textures into one amazing name brand.
