A new film based on a rescue mission involving 30 stranded sailors at Cape Cod in the year 1952, will soon be released Disney.
The film will star actors like Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Eric Bana, Graham McTavish and many more. The disaster drama film will be directed by Craig Gillespie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
The trailer showcases how the disaster augments when an 18-foot-long crack appears in the hull of the ship. The details of the events are adapted from the book by Michael J. Tougias and Casey Sherman that released in 2010.
The film revolves around one of the most dangerous rescue missions by the U.S. coast guard. The Finest Hours will be in theatres on the 29th of January, 2016.
This period drama based in the 1950’s will release in 3D and Imax 3D. Along with releases like Heart of the Sea, Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’, the upcoming years will be full of wonderful films for the nautical loving bunch.
Hopefully, these films won’t disappoint the audience in any way.
