Divorce rumors have been swirling around Beyoncé and Jay-Z for weeks now. Beyoncé made sure to clear all of that up at the MTV VMAs Sunday night.
The pop star did not only have a remarkable performance that was filled with bright flashing lights, wonderful choreography and wicked vocals, she ended with being surrounded by her family and accepting an awesome award.
She received for the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, which was presented to her by husband Jay-Z and Blue Ivy. There were a lot of tears, smiles and kisses exchanged between the family. Beyoncé even referred to Jay-Z as her “beloved.” Blue was clapping along with the audience and was heard saying “Yay! Mommy!” It was a beautiful moment that viewers got to see, as if the performance itself wasn’t enough of a treat.
