Beauty routines take time and money. Sigh, money… But wait, there could be another way! You can make your own spa day at home. Home? Yup, home! Invite some friends, turn on your Pandora or Spotify and bring some wine or champagne, and why not chocolate (life isn’t complete without chocolate)!  It can be fun and a great way to save money.

Step 1: Cleanse

Milk & Oats Cleanser (For all skin types)

In a blender add 1 tablespoon of oats and grind them until you have a fine powder. Add 1-2 tablespoons of powdered milk and 1 teaspoon of water. Blend the ingredients until you have a creamy consistency. Use this to cleanse your skin as you would with a regular cleanser.

Tea Tree Cleanser (for acne skin)

Mix in a bowl 1 tablespoon of castor oil, 1/2 cup of grape oil, 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil and 7 drops of tea tree oil. Mix and apply on your face, don’t forget the neck! This can be abrasive and can dry out your skin so be careful with it.

Chamomile Cleanser (for dry skin)

Mix 1/4 cup of base soap, 1/4 cup of chamomile tea, 3/4 tablespoon of olive oil and several drops of vitamin E-oil.

Step 2: Exfoliate

Coconut Oil Scrub (for dry skin)

For acned skin, this is not a recommendable scrub.
