Eighty-Two high fives to eighty-two D&G pieces presented during Milan Fashion Week finale show. D&G cited the Spanish influence on Sicily between 1516 and 1713 with a bejeweled, lace smothered, embroidered and floral adorned collection.
The color palette was centered around black, white and red for lots of lace dresses. This was not a surprising move from the designers. The matador theme took over the show with matador braid-embroidered suits and ornate trophy belts. In addition, the collection included carnation-covered ponchos, and polka dot flamenco skirts and dresses.
I could see Penelope Cruz in every outfit and don’t ask me why.
Bella! Bella! Was the entire show, especially the finale with a parade of girls in crisp white shirts, red high-waisted shorts and ballet flats.
