Star Wars fans all over the world are eagerly awaiting the release of the new films. Fans everywhere are probably impatiently skimming the internet for any spoilers or information about the film that they can get.
Recently, it was announced that Donnie Yen will be starring in both ‘Star War: Episode 8’ and ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’.
Donnie Yen is a Hong-Kong American actor who is also known for being a multiple-time wushu world tournament champion. The 51 year-old actor will play a Chinese Jedi and befriend Han Solo.
The actor was signed on a month ago and beat every other potential actor on the list. Harrison Ford may also reprise his role as Has Solo in the film franchise.
Yen cannot disclose too much information about his role or any other details as he is under an agreement.
The actor will fly to London next month to begin shooting for the film. J.J. Abrams has confirmed for now that ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ releases on the 18th of December and ‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ will come out on the 26th of May 2017.
