If you have ever driven in NYC, i’m sure you can’t say it was 100% pleasant. Cars honking, taxis whizzing by, traffic cops giving out parking tickets left and right, wait, is there even parking? I’m sure you would love to have a chauffeur take you to Barney’s, but we can’t all be Blair Waldorf. Alas, you may have another option coming in the future. Perhaps even much sooner. The U.K. government wishes to have driverless cars on Britain’s streets and are hoping to have road tests in three different cities by January. Wall Street Journal’s Lisa Fleisher explains that we have the technology for the cars to talk to each other, but the roads need to be integrated as well to communicate with the cars.
