In this video by FlyPress Films, 3 year old Emily James found out that there are kids out there in the world that become sick and loose their hair. Her response was a beautiful, self-less one- to give some of her hair away to these kids. Her parents set up an appointment with ‘Uncle Matthew’ her usual hairstylist. Matthew Collins is a L’Oreal ID Artist, celebrity hairstylist, and co-owner at Brennen Demelo Studios. As per Emily’s request, Collins cut ‘Dolly’s’ hair first and then cut Emily’s. At the end of the video she sends her locks away in an envelope. She looks adorable in her new bob.
“What an incredible lesson to learn from a 3 year old, when we have lots of something – don’t hold onto it, give it away to someone else who needs it more.” -Ms. James.
