Comedian Billy Crystal paid a tribute to the late Robin Williams onstage at the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Crystal stated,
“he was the greatest friend you could imagine.”
A compilation video of different appearances and comedic acts of Robin Williams were then shown on screen. Celebrities and viewers at home took a moment from all the glamour of the event to remember what a great actor, comedian, and overall person Robin Williams was. We will never forget him and how he brought such joy to our lives. Rest in peace Robin Williams.
