Emporio Armani debuted its 2015 collection of women’s garments. The pieces of this pre-spring collection are flirty and urban-chic, a sophisticated blend to suit the powerful workwoman. 8

Giorgio Armani’s inspiration stemmed from menswear with masculine silhouettes. His silhouettes contained a bit of an A-line esque shape though, particularly with the jackets. Yet this look was mediated with big belts.

Armani’s collection appeared to be geared towards commercial appeal. His items were doused with his typical look. However some items, such as his jacket with a trompe l’oeil doubled hem, were slightly more daring. Plus, Armani’s standard items are nothing to complain about.

The signature blue hues were paired white, exhibiting a summertime-marine vibe. The collection also included sparing doses of bright colors to give some pieces a more playful look. One notable ensemble was a reversible, navy leather and nylon blazer over a cotton top with pleated shorts. Another eye-catching item was an emerald cotton bomber that contains grosgrain details.

The look of Emporio Armani Resort 15’ is also considerably sporty. Among the collection were double breasted suits, lots of linen, daily business suits, and striped pantsuits.

A portion of the collection contained a dusty-colored palette. These items were more feminine. One outfit that was showcased contained a carnation-pink, silk crepe top with a puffy miniskirt. Both pieces of the outfit contained sparkling embroidery.

The prints that Armani used were tiny floral designs in understated hues of blue, white, and lilac.
