For the Aug. 2014 issue of Esquire magazine, actress Cameron Diaz,41, shows off her flawless body. This issue came at the perfect time as Diaz is about to be fully nude on screen for the first time in her latest movie Sex Tape. About the nudity, Diaz commented to Esquire, “It’s a first for me.” Adding, “But Jason gets naked, too.” She continued to speak about this decision, saying, “It’s just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean you see everything.”
On the cover of Esquire, which is set for release Jul. 8, Diaz shows off her flawlessly toned body. She sports a one shouldered black leotard with gold heels, fully exposing her legs and arms. In the rest of the shoot, Diaz wears a wet white collared shirt which reveals a pair of white underwear and hints of a white bra.
Currently, Diaz is dating Benji Madden of Good Charlotte. She refrained from directly addressing her new relationship in the interview.
On her age, Diaz told the magazine, “I like being 41. I love it. So much s–t just falls away. Fear, mostly.” She continued talking about her appreciation of this age, stating, “It’s the best age. That’s when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn’t care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid. You don’t worry about what men think. You just don’t worry that time registers anything awful.”
Much of the interview focused on Diaz’s upcoming flick with Segel. She spoke about the filming, demonstrating her famous fun-loving attitude. She recounted, “I found myself (for ‘Sex Tape’) in a room in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts at 11 at night doing a childbirth scene, and everybody’s screaming at one another — Jason, the cameramen, the director. And me acting like I’m trying to push a basketball out of my vajoon. Crazy s–t, right?” She continued, “And the thing is, I always take a moment to say, ‘We’re lucky. This is a great job. A fun job.'”
Diaz even opened up to Esquire about her decision to not be a mother. She sensibly explained, “Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn’t make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother. I have it much easier than any of them. That’s just what it is. Doesn’t mean life isn’t sometimes hard. I’m just what I am. I work on what I am. Right now, I think, things are good for me. I’ve done a lot. And I don’t care anymore.”
In Diaz’s new comedy, co-starring funny man Jason Segel, 34, she plays a woman named Annie. To spice up her marriage, Annie records a sex tape with her husband Jay, played by Segel. However, the video begins to circulate the internet and the action unfolds. The film will be released in theaters on Jul. 18.
