Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them film has been getting hype from Harry Potter fans from all over the world. The film has yet to be released, but it is projected to do well enough that Warner Brothers has already started to get the films sequel ready for production. J.K Rowling has been hired already to write the script and David Yates is also attached to direct the sequel.
Yates has had a long run with the Harry Potter Franchise, directing the last four Harry Potter films and first Fantastic Beasts movie that is expected to hit theaters this November. The second film is expected to bring back the original producers David Heyman, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram, and lastly J.K Rowling herself. David Heyman and Rick Senat are set to be executive producers for the sequel. Reportedly J.K. Rowling’s agent is also getting a spot as an executive producer.
The Fantastic Beasts sequel is expected to release on November 16, 2018, exactly two years after the first film’s theatrical release. Warner Brothers has lined up for the Fantastic Beasts franchise to have two more films following the first film, with the third film being projected to release around November 2020.
Eddie Redmayne, the Oscar award-winning actor, is playing the main character Newt Scamander. In the film, Redmayne’s character accidently releases magical creatures into the Muggle world, which jeopardizes the relations between wizards and human beings. The film is expected to take place many years before the events of the Harry Potter film series.
Warner Brother’s has released a statement about the synopsis of the second Fantastic Beasts film, saying that because of the outcomes of the first film, the wizarding world the main character lives in has become dark. The company continues to state how Newt and his allies have to find out whom to trust and forge new alliances to help their world of magic.
Fans of the film and novel series have been visiting “The Wizard World of Harry Potter” amusement parks in Orlando, Los Angels, and Osaka, Japan Universal Studios. Warner Brothers have recently commented that themes from the Fantastic Beasts films will be included in the Wizarding amusement parks.
Currently J.K. Rowling’s play “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child” has had sold out performances all over London and good reviews. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” play script has also seen high dollar numbers for its impending future sale.
