Rest in peace Mrs. Doubtfire. A beloved actor, comedian, and most importantly a family man. I would like to dedicate this letter to you. Growing up in the 90’s, one would have to be living under a rock to not know any of your accomplishments. Watching you run countless times from a stampede to watching you share a heartfelt moment with Matt Damon, it brings me to tears every time I see it. I remember seeing Genie meet Aladdin to watching you defeat Captain Hook. From watching you dress up as a woman, just to see your kids; to you standing on tables showing me it was cool to be different in school. Your warm embracing voice brought me joy and tears in all your movies- thats only something that you can do. There is a certain charisma, a certain spirit that comes around just once every lifetime. Its quite safe to say that you embodied that spirit. Your contagious smile, laugh, and your spur of the moment sense of humor was something that always got the whole audience laughing at one moment and crying the next. Only a man like you could influence a whole generation of people. I’d like to thank you for giving me more than a decade of laughs and tears. It’s a shame that we weren’t able to bring you the happiness that you brought us. It deeply tears my heart to see you go. Farewell, Mr Williams.
