Farsáli Is Launching Skintune - StyleFT- Style.Fashion.Trend - News, Celebrities, Lifestyle, Beauty & Entertainment - The global style direction.

According to the brand’s website, Farsáli is a hybrid beauty brand that bridges the gap between makeup and skincare. With powerful technology, innovative ideas, and a cruelty-free commitment, its buzzed-about products can stand alone to nurture skin, or fit seamlessly into your makeup routine.

Farsáli created the viral Jelly Beam Highlighter, which according to Sephora is an innovative texture is a bouncy gel that is loaded with pigment for a high-shine effect. Being a jelly, it moves and glides easily onto the skin, starting off with a wet, cool feel. Because it is 100 percent oil free, it quickly dries down to a powder finish. The formula is concentrated—a little goes a long way—and can be built up to a show-stopping beam.

The brand just announced a new serum-meets-primer on its Instagram stories. Skintune Perfecting Primer Serum, which will drop in Sephora stores and on Farsáli.com on September 6.

Farsáli’s Instagram announcement caption read, “Introducing: SKINTUNE – BLUR. SKINTUNE BLUR is a hybrid primer-serum that softly blurs the skin, reduces the appearance of pores and imperfections, and leaves a brightened blurred effect. What makes this product different is it’s lightweight formula, which keeps the skin hydrated and softly blurred at the same time—to be used with or without makeup!”

According to Farsáli, the key to Skintune’s it-could-only-happen-on-Snapchat finish is the combination of a hydrating lightweight formula (packed with conditioning and soothing ingredients) with a blurring powder finish — Insta magic. The price tag on the soon-to-drop serum is steep, $54 for a 30mL bottle. But the brand claims it has several uses: as a basic primer under foundation, as a foundation mix-in to create more of a blurred effect, or alone as a serum.

According to a 2018 Allure report, It’s the latest in a line of similar formulas that have dropped this year — much like ColourPop’s No Filter Foundation and Charlotte Tilbury’s already legendary Flawless Filter — to help achieve the kind of soft-focus effect that makes you look as though you’re walking around with a professional lighting team.
