Trace Ellis Ross stunned the runway with a leather collared jumpsuit. A belt synched in her waist, and the unbuttoned portion of her ensemble showed off some major cleavage. The actress didn’t need accessories to play up her look, because her outfit made enough of a statement.

Dencia wore a much less flattering jumpsuit. With clashing colors, and what seems to be like the image of a face on the front of it, with the eyes placed strategically on her breasts.

Up close it’s clear that the outfit used varying sizes of beads and black mesh, making it seem more like a child’s art project than a red carpet look. None of the components matched in her outfit matched, not even her shoes, where one was pink and one was blue.

Iggy Azalea disappointed with a light blue high-waisted skirt, with one side of the skirt nude making it appear from far away as if it were not even there. She wore a magic blue crop top, and that’s about it. The look wasn’t nearly as bad as other star’s, but it also did nothing to stand out. The color almost washed her out. Her hair was parted in the middle, and with the pink tips made it seem like this entire look had little to no effort put into it.

The Creative Director of Balmain Olivier Roustening confirmed a few of the star’s outfits were in fact by Balmain, and not as was previously thought, Nasty Gal. The plain white outfit was anything but that. It had cutouts in the side showing off Swift’s toned stomach, while the plunging neckline and spaghetti straps showed off some major cleavage. The singer has come a long way from shaming other girl’s for what they were wearing.

Swift wasn’t the only one wearing Balmain on the runway. Chrissy Teigen was wearing the infamous Paris designer, too. Teigen co-hosted the awards with rapped Ludacrist, while her monologues were subpar, her outfits were on point. On the red carpet she wore a black, white and yellow onesie, with an open top showing off cleavage. She accessorized with a belt and a little black clutch.

Rousteing instagrammed a photo of the celebrity, thanking her, “for an amazing #BBMA”.

Lily Aldridge and Kylie Jenner were just a few other celebrities seen in Balmain and featured on Roustening’s Instagram.

Nothing about Fifth Harmony’s outfits were harmonious. The girl group looked less than stellar in their black, white and yellow ensembles. Their outfits were mismatched, and although each outfit had similar colors, the patterns and the designs didn’t work for any of the girls figures, and was missing a sense of unison.

One Direction’s outfits were a lot more synchronized, while still allowing them to show off some individual style. Liam Payne worn a white tee, black jacket and pants, with a patterned scarf that hung loose around his neck.

Louis Tomlinson wore the same jacket and pants as his band mates, with a black graphic tee under it. Niall Horan wore a classic white collared shirt, with a white pocket square, and sunglasses. Harry Styles added some flare to his look with silver rings and a silk black dress shirt, with a few buttons undone.

Last but not least Molly Ringwald graced the awards with a black halter top dress and fierce red lips. Ringwald was there to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Breakfast Club.

Some other trends that could be seen were crystal embellished gowns, and very sheer fabric. While a lot of celebrities pulled off their looks, there were definitely a few disappointments.
