After a brief affair in Manchester to bring the event to a new territory and a new audience in 2013, Fashion’s Night Out is back in London for this year. This will be the sixth year for the international event. Fashion’s Night Out started in 2009 in attempts to boost the retail economy during tough financial times throughout the United States. It has since become a much anticipated event for shopping lovers around the world. Since the start, shopping events have been held in Sydney, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, Paris, Berlin, and Moscow, for a total of 28 cities worldwide.
As stated by the editor of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, the magazine will host the event in London on September 23. All the activity of the evening will include shopping throughout Oxford and Regent Street as a celebration of all the “new retail activity.” This year, Paris, New York, Delhi, and Beijing will join the festivities brought about by one of Fashion’s biggest nights of the year.
