New York City streets are buzzing with frenzy due to Fear of Men! No, We are not talking about some crazy phobia it’s actually a really good band. Fear of Men  transports you to a realm of nostalgia like no other! The Lead singer’s beautiful melodies leave you mesmerized, suddenly you feel yourself drifting into a dreamlike state of enchantment. This Indie Rock/Pop band from the UK formed in 2011, it was originally lead singer Jessica Weiss’s portfolio she was preparing for her art degree. Ms. Weiss met soon to be guitarist Daniel Falvey at an exhibition of her short films which featured her music. The two got together and recorded a series of demos in hopes to attract more members to their group. Alex-Flynn-O’Neil joined and became the bass player, Michael Miles followed shortly after on drums. The rest was history! The band soon released a compilation of songs and eventually released Early Fragments in 2013 while in preparation for their official debut album. Once the 2014 debut album Loom was released the band was back to the trio of Weiss, Falvey, and Miles.

Fear of Men rocked out at Brooklyn Night Bazzar this past Saturday and obtained quite a crowd. The melodic trance was too much for onlookers to resist has they swayed to the rhythm of each beat. The band once again made magic happen on stage at Williamsburg’s music venue Baby’s all right. The free show took place on Wednesday the 23rd of April. Really, we want to be on your side, won’t let anyone else come and change our minds. No doubts in this band’s greatness. Check out Fear of Men’s music video for Mosiac via the image below.
