This Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff takes about 5+ hours to cook, but wait for it… you don’t have to do a lot! Have you heard of a crock pot? Believe it or not, some people haven’t. This amazing kitchen go-to can cook the meal for you, slowly, throughout the day so when you’re ready to eat, it’s already prepared. Beef Stroganoff just got simpler!
Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cubed
- 1/8 cup margarine
- 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
Directions
- Put chicken, margarine and dressing mix in slow cooker; mix together and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
- Add cream cheese and soup, mix together and cook on high for another 1/2 hour or until heated through and warm.
And there you have it: Chicken Strognanoff! Prepare it in the morning, and it will be ready to eat and waiting for you by the time you’re done with work.
