FoodStuff Friday: Touchdown Pizza

As Super bowl Sunday draws closer, sports fans stock up on big screen TV’s, alcohol and most importantly, food! From chips, dips, hot wings or even a bacon twist (this is actually a thing), food is an absolute must for any big sports game.

As an added bonus, consider this Touchdown Pizza from AllRecipes.com. For a filling meal where you can add as much toppings as you deem, which means anything from meat to Pringles, this Touchdown Pizza will have you guests wanting more so be sure to double the serving size.

PREP – 15 min COOK – 10 min READY IN – 30 min

Ingredients:

~1 (14 ounce) package prebaked pizza crust (such as Boboli®)

~1 cup diced cooked chicken breast

~3 tablespoons Buffalo wing sauce

~1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce

~1 (4 ounce) package crumbled blue cheese

~1 stalk celery, thinly sliced

~1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place pizza crust on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Mix chicken and 3 tablespoons wing sauce together in a bowl until evenly coated.
  4. Spread 1/2 cup wing sauce on the pizza crust; top with blue cheese, chicken mixture, and celery. Cover pizza with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until pizza is cooked through and cheese is bubbling, about 12 minutes. Cool pizza about 5 minutes before cutting into squares.
