Fan favorites, the hilarious Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, have already begun filming “The Nest,” a comedy that details the adventures of two estranged adult sisters who decide to throw one last bash in their childhood home before their parents sell it.
The script is based on a screenplay by SNL writer and “30 Rock,” Paula Pell, who came up with the idea to detail the mishaps of two 30-something sisters throwing a farewell bash in the home they grew up in. The movie will be directed by “Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore.
The film is currently being filmed in Pearl River, New York in a development of townhouses and condos. And to top off what already sounds like an epic movie cast, based on the two main stars alone, is comedian Maya Rudolph, yet another SNL veteran.
The film will be released on December 18, 2015.
