The French fashion house is following in the footsteps of their collaboration with Icône et Iconoclastes, by collaborating with architect Frank Gehry by inviting him to design the boutique windows for Fall/Winter 2014-2015.
Frank Gehry is considered one of the most influential architects of this time. He is famous for building the musée de Guggenheim in Bilbao, as well as the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Gehry recently achieved one of his architectural goals by designing the Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation, nestled in the heart of Bois de Boulogne.
From September onwards, people will discover a nautical window display inspired by sailing and fishing boats that will include the abstract work of Frank Stella, a famous painter and dear friend to Frank Gehry. The window display will be featured in waves of gray, dusky pink and blue and will included pieces from Nicolas Ghesquiere’s first collection for Louis Vuitton.
