Brad Pitt dawns the big screen once again in a tell-all, devastation of World War II. Written and directed by David Ayer, “Fury” is already getting Oscar hype.

Stepping away from his former role as scalping crazed, Lt. Aldo in Quentin Tarantino’s, “Inglorious Bastards,” Pitt brings in a new performance, highlighting the gritty, reality of tank warfare in the final days of World War II. Director Ayer wanted to bring in the reality of the war, share the truth about who died, who fought and who survived.

Pitt plays, Don ‘Wardaddy’ Collier, a hardened tank commander and stars alongside Shia LaBeouf, as Boyd ‘Bible’ Swan. Vowing to keep his team alive, Pitt commands a Sherman tank, plus a five-man crew to push their way into European territory. Severally out numbered and lacking firepower, the team must beat the odds and strike the enemy down in the midst of Nazi Germany.

“Fury,” opens this Friday.
