Nadia Aboulhosn is not your average fashion blogger/model. Her looks, her persona, and her style are completely different from the millions of wannabe bloggers out there—and that’s why we love her. Whether it’s her eclectic, street-chic wardrobe, or the fact that almost every blog post opens up with an awesomely inspirational quote, Aboulhosn has shown her 179,000 Instagram followers that you don’t have to act, shop, or look a certain way to have truly great, fashion-forward style.

Some style lessons we’ve learned from Aboulhosn? Black and white is always right (whether it’s sporty, sweatpants-y, or straight up chic).

Life’s too short to not have a wardrobe bursting with colors, patterns, and crazy sheer inserts. And, most importantly, when it comes to fashion, there are no rules.

Aboulhosn (who’s been featured in magazines like Addition Elle, Teen Vogue, and Lucky) also recently acted as BoohooPLUS’s brand ambassador—where she told the online retailer in a behind-the-scenes video that the three words she would use to describer her style are “classic, experimental…and fearless.” Aboulhosn also cited “a pair of black pointy heels…and red lipstick” as her wardrobe staples. We couldn’t agree more, Nadia!

Check out her eponymous street style blog or Instagram feed for your daily dose of Nadia’s fresh, fun, and funky style (no seven-inch heels or garbage-bag materials here, ladies).
