Girls wearing hats; maybe it’s just in America that this is a rare occurrence? Maybe hats just seem like a rare occurrence? Either way, a great hat, like a great pair of heels, can change the entire dynamic of an outfit. Girls in baseball caps, fedoras, straw hats, sunhats, and westerns; it’s all cool with us, except the bucket hat. When Rihanna brought back the bucket hat, she made it seem possible for all us regular human beings to be able to pull it off as well.
Ladies, its still a bucket hat, its not for a grown woman like yourself. Unless you can really, really, work the look. You might be better off taking your inspiration from these fabulous women wearing hats like it’s no bother at all, and we all understand the risk of wearing a hat when you rarely wear outstanding pieces other than a statement necklace at your best friend’s cocktail party.
