It seems that an animated series of “Guardians of the Galaxy” will be going to Disney XD. The news was announced during Comic-Con held here in New York. The series will be a part of the Marvel Universe and will have your favorite characters from the movie: Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer.
The general manager at Disney XD, Mark Buhaj, stated, “The movie and franchise quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. We’re looking forward to working with the great team at Marvel Television to deliver an engaging animated series that fans can enjoy each week.”
The series will be launched sometime next year, so you won’t have to wait long if you want to see your favorite “Guardians of the Galaxy” characters.
