People all over the world opened up their home to Robin Williams through the numerous movies he starred in including, Dead Poets Society, Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, Aladdin, Flubber, and many more. One of his most famous movies made in 1995 is getting a reboot… You guessed it, Jumanji!

Sony Pictures revealed that the movie based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg’s is set to hit theaters Christmas this year. The original cast included the late Williams, Bonnie Hunt, and a very young Kirsten Dunst; and one thing is for sure, that Williams will surely be missed.
Besides the film entering theaters Dec. 25, 2016, no other details have been unveiled regarding casting or plot changes, if there are even going to be any. Even though Jumanji is probably the most exciting news to come out of Sony’s announcement, the studio also recently revealed other forthcoming projects, including Ghostbusters!
