By now, we’ve all come to know and love Kit Harington as Jon Snow on the HBO hit series Game of Thrones. It’s hard to believe that someone else was even considered for the role, especially when we found out who this person plays now.
Yup, Iwan Rheon, who now plays Ramsay Snow, almost got the part of everyone’s favorite Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. Ramsay Snow is currently one of the most hated characters on GOT.

Rheon told The Telegraph in April that,
“I auditioned for the pilot of Game of Thrones, and was down to the last two for Jon Snow, so I guess they knew me. But Ramsay is the complete polar opposite. In my mind, I secretly thought it was Ramsay.”
His initial given character was simply “Boy.” This was because the producers did not want to ruin the surprise of introducing Ramsay Snow’s character into the show.
Rheon said,
“I wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone about it from the beginning of filming to the broadcast of the end of season three. I was supposed to say to everyone, ‘oh my character is Boy’, which was really embarrassing.”
Luckily for him, that embarrassment now is over. Rheon rocks it as a villain.
