She’s back! Hilary Duff, 27, has made a new debut both in her acting and singing career.
Former teen star in the hit Disney show Lizzie McGuire and had also created most of her albums through the Disney networks.
This new mom is coming into her own and released her first single on April 6th. This is her first single to come out in 8 years.
She introduced her song “Sparks” as a teaser to her new album. Her album is filled with steamy break-up lyrics as her and former husband of four years Mike Comrie split in 2014.
The release of her album is projected to release very soon..
“My record is pretty much done, and I’m just waiting. It’s tough. I put some music out last year, and right when I put my single out, we started filming the show. So it was a little bad timing because I really didn’t get a chance to properly promote my single after being out of the music game for seven years. But it was good. I feel like I got a little taste of it again and it got me excited,” Said Duff to Time last month.
Duff is also getting back into the acting world premiering on TV Land’s new show Younger

“I had to be careful not to screw up in public as a child actor. So on my new show, ‘Younger’ […] it’s really fun for me to play Kelsey, a 27-year-old book editor whose personal life is a hot mess,” she told Shape Magazine, which she will be featured on the cover of for the May issue.
The May edition will be on stands soon too! By April 28th the magazine could be found in the grocery line as you wait for a register to be open.
On top of her busy schedule Duff still manages to keep up with healthy eating and tries to exercise when she can, she tells the magazine.
“There’s so much pressure to always have it together, and I’m not falling for it. You see supermodels who have babies, and the next week they look as if they were never pregnant. That was not the case with me. Some days I feel great, others I feel pretty normal, and that’s acceptable,” Duff says.

With all the new projects she is doing will Duff be able to crawl out of her childhood limelight?
