H&M is Expanding Their Beauty Line

Known for their stylish, fashion-forward clothing for an affordable price, H&M is now expanding their beauty and makeup line that will be seen in stores this fall.

In around 900 of their stores worldwide they will supply 700 items of makeup, hair care and skin care products.

One can expect to pay anywhere between $2.99 to $24.99 for some affordable beauty products.

The products will match the H&M brand look with sleek, gold packaging and as they call it will be “fashion for the face.”

H&M Beauty’s concept designer Sara Wallander states, “This is an opportunity to be inventive, creative and have fun with fashion and colors.”

Some products in the line will be premium, certified by Ecocert on top of seasonal products. Similar to what H&M does with their clothing brand line by adding in their occasional designer lines featuring designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang.

The store will supply their stores with a section to actually test their products, as well as be available online.

The Swedish brand that came to America in 2000 is always looking for new ways to expand their store and is a strong competitor for both retail stores like Forever 21 and designer stores like Steve Madden, featuring affordable versions of top designer clothing.
