How I Embraced the Winter Season in July with David’s Tea

Bustling in the quaint quarter of the eminent Soho House located in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, NKPR’s Holiday in July event so readily prepared its guests for the most wonderful time of the year. Though 80-something degrees outside with hot flash-worthy humidity, — as expected of mid-July East Coast temperatures — Holiday in July had everyone in attendance eager for the gradually approaching holiday season. NKPR, backed by Natasha Koifman, is a Canadian-based public relations company aimed at “developing tailored strategies and a public voice for each brand [they] represent.” Brands presented at the Winter Wonderland themed gathering included Line, Saje, and David’s Tea.

Davids Tea
Davids Tea

I’ve only recently become an avid tea drinker, and my introduction to the much-raved-about brand David’s Tea left an excellent first impression. Emitting heavenly aromatic scents like those of the powerful cinnamon french toast, surprisingly accurate 10495dt01var0027533-bi-1-46-300x3001mulled wine, and sugary sweet hot chocolate, the featured holiday scents are sure to leave a pleasant redolence that could warm the soul of any Grinch, Scrooge, and insistent holiday pessimist.

As I poured piping hot water through the metal loose leaf infuser and into my clear David’s Tea nordic mug this morning, immediate notes of warm vanilla delightfully filled my nostrils and with just one inhale I envisioned myself sitting by the living room fireplace listening to cheery Christmas albums on a loop.

Each sip of the organic cream of earl grey had my senses beaming with gratitude, and it’s safe to say it will have yours doing the same. Between the holiday-inspired loose leafs, the gold dipped mugs, and the Hanukkah and 12 days of Christmas sets, you can’t go wrong with David’s Tea this merry winter season.
