On September 12th at The Gallery on the WME IMG official platform, Austrian designer Irina Vitjaz made her North American debut in New York City. The show was quite the success, with a standing room only crowd that eventually lead to a turn away crowd, quite a packed house.
When the lights came down, every eye was magnetized to the runway, which was accentuated with Operatic music pumping throughout the venue. Everything flowed remarkably well together, akin to a river flowing down the runway; everything worked together to make a bigger picture, and that bigger picture is the genius of Irina Vitjaz.
Vitjaz’s designs featured sheer see-through designs and long flowing skirts that absolutely commanded attention from the enraptured crowd, and they certainly lent their attention, every attendee was left wide-eyed at what unfolded before them.
When the last model made her glorious stride down the runway, showing off the last glimpse of the jawdropping designs, Irina Vitjaz herself made her way through the curtain to a monstrous standing ovation and the sounds of thousands of pictures being taken in commemoration of a successful North American debut.
Not a bad way to enter the United States fashion industry.
