The all-natural herbal blemish stick lives up to what it is intended to do. Although it does indeed have some faulty attributes.
Pros:
-immediately effective.
-reduces redness and size of pimples
-affected areas become smooth after
Cons:
-smells horrible
-stings affected area for about 20 seconds
-top of the stick is a rollerball (not sanitary if applying directly and repeatedly on face)
The best way to use this product is at the end of the day after a routine facial wash. If there is any redness or hard pimples, rollover them with the blemish stick and watch them disappear in a couple of hours. At first the product will sting the skin, but eventually the skin will get used to it. It is effective and will shrink and dry out any pimple. Additionally, this product is not recommend to be used on sensitive skin. It is acidic because of the lemon extract and could cause irritation of the skin. Burt’s Bees skin care products are all individually designed for specific areas, such as pores, pimples, etc. This product is a bit overpriced at $8.49, but it is a worthy investment.
