The lifestyle brand Sprayground launched a capsule collection featuring Cash Money artist Jacquees.
The brand’s most recent collaborations featured well-known artists like Young Thug and Saweetie.
In 2010 Sprayground was founded and is currently directed by artist and visionary David Ben David . The brand claims that at the time backpacks were black and boring, but Sprayground changed all of that with their “Hello My Name Is” backpack.
According to a 2018 Billboard report, In speaking about what led him to do his first fashion collaboration, the artist says, “I’ve always been a creator outside of music and fashion has always been interesting to me, too. I used to make all the FYB clothes in high school and even after I graduated.”
Not to be taken merely as a flex of vanity, the southern crooner notes how part of his collection is a tribute to an important member of his family. “I made sure to honor my mom in the collection by using orange, her favorite color. I mixed it with camo, which is one of my favorite prints because my mom once served in the army. I think the two look dope together,” according to 2018 Billboard report.
The artist also goes on to explain the use of “10,000”. “That’s usually what I have in cash on me. I just wanted the designs to be honest — a true reflection of myself and my passions,” according to 2018 Billboard report.
The collection is available now at Sprayground.com. Prices range from $40-$120.
