The 43 year-old actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, married Will Smith in the year 1997. A marriage of over a decade is truly a milestone in Hollywood. It is obvious that with an achievement as good as this, the curiosity about their marriage does tend to increase.
In a recent interview Jada was questioned about a few comments she made about her marriage in another old interview. She had claimed that she was in an “open” relationship with Smith.
She explains a bit further about what she truly meant by her words. Her previous words meant that she and her husband were free to date whomever they want. However, she and Smith don’t really seem to do that very often.
Nevertheless, Jada does not hold a tight leash. She said,
“You gotta trust who you’re with, and at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man.”
When Jada was asked whether she would encourage her children to do the same in the future she said,
“Heck yeah, don’t do it.” Seems like Jada would like her children to be a bit more reserved with their relationships.
