Whoever said all news is bad news lied to you, again. As of yesterday, it was announced that the two best performers are joining forces for a summer tour, the two forces just happen to be husband and wife, and the couple every couple wishes they were.
Starting in June, the world’s favorite couple: Beyonce and Jay-Z will kick-off the ‘On the Run’ tour. Considering the couple loves to use their power for good and inspire others in the process, one dollar of each of the ticket sales will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation which focuses on providing undeserved groups the aid necessary to attend college.
Tickets for the general public are available as of May 2, 2014. The ‘On the Run’ tour kicks off in Miami on June 25 and wraps in San Francisco on August 5. Since this will be the first time that the two tour together, we will be likely to hear some of their many collaborations live including: ‘Drunk in Love,’ ‘Upgrade U,’ and ‘Crazy in Love.’
The couple loves surprising their fans. First a surprise album, then a surprise performance at Coachella, now a tour stopping by 13 cities in the U.S, what can eager fans expect next?
