Jeremy Scott Makes Moves From Milan to London

Jeremy Scott, the famous American fashion designer for Moschino, has decided to shake things up a bit, moving from his playground in Milano to London. He will be showcasing his new menswear collection for Moschino in the big city, presenting designs for Spring/Summer 2015 as part of London Collections Men on June 16th, at 6pm.

Both “Moschino’s Cheap & Chic” collection and “Jeremy”, named after the designer, have been showcased in London before, but mark’s the label’s first time featuring a mainline collection outside of Italy. Could this be the start of a showcase in many other cities as well?

With his debut women’s collection featured at Milan Fashion Week this past February, Scott was named the new Creative Director this past October. Critics were smitten with Scott’s Fall 2014 collection, where he incorporated a high-fashion take on iconic superstars of pop culture with a mixture of fast food.

It seems the designer is really getting the attention he deserves. Grabbing the hearts of other designers, celebrities (Katy Perry reportedly sat front row at the Fall 2014 showcase), and fashion lovers all over the world. The designer who once started as an intern for the Moschino label, is now the label’s Creative Director and is making huge contributions to the fashion industry. Imagine that!
