At the 2014 BET Awards, held at Nokia Theater in L.A on June 29, the performances kicked off with John Legend, which quickly became, to fans, one of the best performances at the BET Awards as a whole. Just when you thought you couldn’t be anymore captivated by him belting out ‘You and I,’ hip-hop beauty, Jhene Aiko walked out. She wore a beautiful nude colored crop top paired with a nude, single slit maxi skirt.
Aiko gave a soulful deliverance of her latest single, ‘The Worst,’ with Legend on the piano and backup vocals. The two most powerful voices in hip-hop collided and the combination of both their sweet voices was enough to cause goosebumps.
John Legend is currently on the “All of Me Tour,” which runs throughout the summer. Jhene Aiko has recently announced that she will be joining The Weekend and Schoolboy Q on a mini-tour. The tour, which kicks off this fall, will consist of four dates, stopping in: Brooklyn, Toronto, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
