Politics are continuing to scare American citizens into thinking that we all might be doomed soon. What started as a joke was pushed aside and not thought about, which was what was going on inside our heads.

Now, with the healthcare bill being threatened, has put citizens into quite a shock. We are sitting in silence waiting for what might be dreadful news, and we are fighting with all our might to stop this country from corruption.

There are two sides to every story, much like there are two sides to every politician. The future may be around the corner for some.

Jimmy Kimmel, a well-known late-night TV host made a comment previously that made his fans look at him differently for a second. What was meant to be a call to everyone was taken as a call to his privileges.

Kimmel still has healthcare and probably will continue to have healthcare when the new bill gets put into action. On his TV show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, which airs on ABC, he talked about his infant son Billy who is in recovery after an open-heart surgery. He was busy thanking the audience for their good wishes when it sparked the notion that he could afford healthcare.

People regularly judge Kimmel for being an elitist, but Kimmel dismisses the accusation because he had not grown up in a middle-class socioeconomic background. His family struggled and he became lucky enough to land as a celebrity. His comment about wanting children in America to have health care was offensive to some because they do not or will not be able to obtain it, putting themselves and their own children in jeopardy.

He said, “It was insensitive, it was offensive, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”

A speech where he made the comment happened right before the Republicans in Congress made the decision about their thoughts about repeal and replace.

The speech was seen by millions, and that same night, the new healthcare was put on pause. Kimmel joked that he saved America from losing health insurance, but right now, it is a topic that should not be regarded as comical.

He went on to explain that his son Billy was not miraculously saved overnight. It took about a dozen times until he got better. Kimmel had to explain this to viewers and to Newt Gingrich, who mentioned that all children would not receive the same care Billy did even if they did have healthcare.

Kimmel also brought on the GOP lawmaker Bill Cassidy who made a remark about having a “Jimmy Kimmel test” that aims to “cover preexisting conditions but in a fiscally conservative way”.

Jimmy Kimmel’s response led the senators to tell everyone to urge what Trump has in mind because the new health care bill will have lower premiums that Jimmy Kimmel mistakenly agreed with. Kimmel shot back asking that this “Jimmy Kimmel test” come with no denial of any family, their medical care, and emergencies.

Jimmy Kimmel’s son is not going to spend the rest of his life perfectly happy, but because of the Affordable Care Act, Kimmel was able to successfully get his son to be as fine as he can be.

Kimmel said, “If your baby is going to die and it doesn’t have to, it shouldn’t matter how much money you make. Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat or something else, we all agree on that, right?”

Right.
