The film Wreck-it-Ralph, released in the year 2012, starred John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch and many more. The film was about the lives of arcade game characters and their adventures.

The film quickly became popular amongst children and gamers alike. This unique concept is now going to get a much deserved sequel; Reilly is officially going to reprise his role as the titular character of the film in Wreck-it-Ralph 2.

The last time around this successful film had earned Disney Studios about $470 million. Reilly revealed this information when he was the guest at this year’s Galway Film Festival.

The director of the film, Rich Moore, said in an interview that,

“Are there other Ralphs [in this world we were introduced to in the original]? What would happen if another Fix It Felix, Jr. game was plugged in? Are there other Ralphs that are more contemporary? Is there another version of the game that was made for mobile? Are there those kind of Super Smash Bros types games where all the characters are gathered in a fighting game? What would that be like for Ralph to come face to face with those different iterations of himself?”

Hopefully, the sequel will live up to the expectations of the fans.
