It’s hard to imagine Andy Warhol’s pop-art masterpiece of Marilyn Monroe recreated with an older man instead. Well, in a thirty-piece tribute (not parody) to famous works of art, actor/director John Malkovich has done just that.
Working with friend (and prominent photographer) Sandro Miller, Malkovich posed for legendary photograph recreations—with subjects as varied as Muhammad Ali, to Andy Warhol himself.
The exhibit, entitled “Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich—Homage to photographic masters series,” will be displayed at Chicago’s Catherine Edelman Gallery this November.
