Yeezus Christ, Kanye. What have you done now?
Mr. West shocked the internet with the debut of his new music video ‘Famous’. While the promo video can be found on Tidal, Yeezus and his wife, Mrs. Kardashian West, watched alongside 8,000 fans in LA this past weekend.
Who accompanies the self-proclaimed god in the video? Not one. Not two. But 11 celebrity charlatans wearing nothing but their birthday suit and a barely-there bedsheet. Among these computerized celebrity look-alikes are George Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby and Kim Kardashian West, herself.
That’s one big bed.
There are rumors of a poetic justice in Kanye’s exposing of these mega-famous celebrities. It is no secret that West thinks of himself as a bonafide Jesus Christ, as he oftentimes deems himself Yeezus. Perhaps, this video serves as an exposé of the celebs’ sins against the godlike son of hip-hop and rap.
The lyrics to ‘Famous’ directly criticize the validity of Taylor Swift’s fame, as Kanye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.” Do we really need to flashback to the VMAs? We know we don’t, but we certainly couldn’t help ourselves. Click here.
After Mr. and Mrs. West graced the cover of Vogue, Anna Wintour responded to criticism, “If we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It’s very important that people do talk about us.”
I suppose this is Kanye’s way of saying um, thank you (?) for that seemingly backhanded compliment.
Fear not, folks. Kanye does seem to appreciate others besides himself. Overly exposed, yet fondly liked if not completely loved by Kanye, are Kimmy K, Caitlyn Jenner and Bill Cosby. All situated to the left of the star, Kanye has complimented these celebrities in one way or another.
He put a rock on one. The other is a no brainer, obligatory familial compliments. But Bill Cosby does prove to be a head-scratcher. Then we remember Yeezus absolved Cosby of his many alleged sins back in February. A baptismal tweet, if you will.
BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!

What comes as the greatest shock, however, are the crickets. We’ve heard only crickets from the exposed celebrities since the videos debut. Apart from one Chris Brown remarking on his wax figure’s buttocks, the ten other bare-butt and bedridden celebs have said zilch. Nada.

What about Kim? We don’t know a wife that would approve of ten other bedmates, regardless of the wax and computerized kind. To this, West tells Vanity Fair, “[I say] a lot of lines other wives would not allow a husband to say. But my wife also puts up photos that other husbands wouldn’t let them put up. One of the keys to happiness in our marriage is we’re allowed to be ourselves.”
That sounds healthy.
As for the other stars? No comment.
