On Saturday June 13th, Kate Middleton will be making her very first public appearance since the birth of her daughter, Princess Charlotte. She will be attending the Trooping the Colour ceremony, which will also be Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday parade.
The annual event takes place on Horse Guards Parade and is conducted by regiments of the British and Commonwealth army. Prince Philip and the Queen will be riding in her carriage from Buckingham Palace down The Mall. Queen Elizabeth II is, by tradition, going to be greeted with a royal salute before she carries out her inspection of the troops.
Kate will be riding with Prince Harry and Camilla, and the Duchess of Cornwall will be riding behind them with Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Prince Charles and Prince William will be riding horses for the ceremony and, unfortunately, Prince George and Princess Charlotte do not seem to be part of this event.
Don’t forget, Princess Charlotte’s Christening will take place at St. Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate, on July 5th, 2015!
