Katy Perry’s performance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards looked like a nightmare for someone whose worst fear are clowns. Singing her latest single, ‘Birthday’ the artist performed wearing a nude body suit with balloons painted over her boobs. With having recently dyed her hair booger-green, she resembled a creepy clown’s wife.
Perry was looking for someone to sing to, asking the audience if anyone was celebrating a birthday soon. She chose a girl from the audience who was holding a sign saying ‘It’s my birthday’ to come on stage with her. The fan sat in the center of a cake that rose from the stage. She was surrounded by candles and dancers with brightly colored hair, while Perry soared over the audience with balloons. You know, like the scene from Up. During her journey, she spotted a cute audience member and pointed out, “Oh, you are cute!” Maybe hoping to prove to ex-boyfriend, John Mayer that she is past him? Katy Perry is currently on her ‘Prismatic’ tour from now until December, wrapping up in Australia. Check out the video below .
