Katy Perry Still Going Strong After Heartbreak

Heartbreak can’t stop this pop star from rocking out on stage. Katy Perry performed for the first time on Sunday since her break-up with on-and-off again boyfriend John Mayer.

According to E! News, the couple split last week but it is still unknown what caused it this time.

Well, Perry took the St. Paul RiverCentre stage in Minnesota without showing any effects whatsoever, instead she put all her focus on the cause. The singer sang exquisitely as always for the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s So the World May Hear Gala, dedicating her song “Roar” to the co-founders William F. Austin and Tani Austin.

On Twitter she tweeted,

“If @StarkeyHearCEO & @TaniAustin can do it, we all can do it!”

On stage, Perry looked whimsical in a strapless rainbow pastel princess gown.

That was not all; the 30 year-old entrepreneur met two former U.S. presidents, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and posed for an Instagram picture with the two. She had a wardrobe change to a long white ruffle gown with a high slit and bejeweled straps.

42, 43, 46?!

“42, 43, 46?!”, she joked about running office herself one day, but we all know with the power she has created already, it might just happen. She is also a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, Bill’s wife who is running to be the first woman president.

Perry was also found in selfies with Gene Simmons from the band Kiss. It was an eventful day with other celebrity appearances like Quinton Aaron, Frankie Muniz, Dascha Polanco and Verne Troyer.

The gala raised a total of $9 million. Way to go Katy.

As for her relationship with Mayer, only time will tell if the two find their way back to each other or if it is official this time around.
