Kendall Jenner is the New Face of Penshoppe

Kendall Jenner is the new face of Penshoppe, a Filipino brand that has yet to make its way to the United States.

The announcement was made on Penshoppe’s Instagram, where a video of  Jenner was posted. In it she said, “The team here is amazing, the clothes here are amazing, and I can’t wait for you guys to see it.”

Since its upload two days ago, the post has gotten over six thousand likes, and over 600 comments.

It’s unclear whether or not Penshoppe will be opening up in the United States, but they’ve already completed a photo shop with Jenner in Los Angeles. According to, Penshoppe Parent Company Golden ABC’s VP for Retail Brands Alice Liu said, “Kendall is a perfect fit for us since she’s the current face of fashion. She’s a joy to work with.”

In one of the photos Jenner is seen sporting a denim vest and denim jeans. This may be a clue as to why the Penshoppe’s Instagram post included the #denimlab.

This has led to speculation as to whether or not Jenner will be working with them to create her own line of denim. In one of the photos posted from the LA shoot, she wore a denim vest with denim bottoms, this look may be a hint as to what her denim line will contain.

Since the announcement, more photos have been released. One featured Jenner in a striped figure-hugging dress, and a denim jacket.

According to, “Over the years, Penshoppe has evolved into a lifestyle brand offering a wide variety of merchandise.”

With its lack of influence in the United States, some are wondering why Jenner picked up this particular job. However, the clothing line isn’t shy to big name models. American model named Sean O’Pry worked their summer line. You may recognize him from Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” where he played her boyfriend. Mario Maurer, who is a model from Thailand, worked for their 2014 holiday line. In October 2014, Cara Delevingne did a campaign for the brand, the line contained leather jackets, loose fitting bottoms, and graphic tees with words on them like, “I woke up like this” and “never say Monday”.

Penshoppe’s Brand Director Jeff Bascon said, “Penshoppe, being an international fashion brand, is now being endorsed by the three biggest names in fashion. And it’s not just the endorsers, the merchandise collections you see in stores are on-point and on-trend. Penshoppe speaks fashion.”

The shop has two places online to purchase their clothing: Zalora and Lazada. However, be aware that they ship to only a few different countries, none of them being the United States.

This gives hope that Penshoppe’s collaboration with famous celebrities who work in the United States, that we could start seeing stores popping up in the area, or at least access to purchasing the clothes online.

Jenner tweeted two days after the announcement saying, “New @Penshoppe campaign launching!” and posted a photo of herself posing with a sultry look in denim skirt and a button up collared shirt.

It’s unclear when the official launch will take place, but it’s safe to say that checking Penshoppe’s Instagram is the best way to keep up to date on the news. They have already uploaded numerous photos of Jenner since the announcement.
