The iconic children’s television program The Muppet Show by Disney has been around since the 1970’s and has been growing in popularity ever since.
The reason why this show is so popular is probably because, even though the show’s characters are basically just hand puppets, it is truly character driven.
Sometimes, not only the children, yet the parents as well, are left engaged in the pantomime. One such event that exemplifies how the characters evolve is the recent breakup between Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy on Tuesday.
Kermit the Frog released a statement that said,
“After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Miss Piggy made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter. Thank you for your understanding.”
This was a very adorable announcement to make the young ones understand the ups and downs of relationships.

This makes me so sad! They were my favorite celebrity couple.
