All of you ‘Scandal’ fans get ready for the upcoming season because Kerry is back in business. Kerry Washington recently gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Isabelle Aramachi Asomugha, in April. The actress has been taking care of her newborn baby; however, her maternity leave is coming to an end. The actress has been out and about, as she’s attended The BET Awards back in June.
Yesterday (July 25) there was a rumor going around that Kerry Washington was going to be replaced by Meagan Good on ‘Scandal’ because she refused a pay decrease. This turned out to be a hoax, as the “news” was posted on a satire website called “Cream BMP Daily.”
Shonda Rimes, the show’s creator, posted a picture of Washington covering her face with the script for the show on her WhoSay account. The caption stated, “Our own @kerrywashington at the #scandal table read! We are just starting the read!!”
So all of you ‘Scandal’ fans don’t worry, Kerry Washington is still Olivia Pope and they’ll be back on your TV screen soon enough.
