Recently, Kevin Bacon released a video clip online that is getting quite popular. The actor talks about nudity in films and television and he describes how disappointed he is that it is mostly the female actresses who are required to go nude as opposed to the male actors.
Bacon said,
“There’s a big problem in Hollywood today. In so many films and TV shows we see gratuitous female nudity, and that’s not ok. Well it’s ok, but it’s not fair to actresses and it’s not fair to actors. Because, we want to be naked too. Gentlemen, it’s time to free the bacon.”
Bacon goes on to say,
“Game of Thrones – You’ve got three sex scenes per episode. How hard would it be to show one or two wei**rs every couple of minutes. I’ll be on the show, come on I’ll play a naked wizard or something. I’ve done it before. Have you seen Wild Things? I was stupid naked in there. It was awesome.”
The actor goes on to joke about popular new films and series and says that he wouldn’t mind playing parts that would require him to go nude. Kevin Bacon is one hilariously bold actor indeed.
