Recently trending on Twitter, the topic of happiness arose. One of the most intangible aspects of one’s life that society craves and yearns for. Achieving happiness may come easy to some but others find it apart of their list of goals. Could finding happiness in passion be the answer to achieve this? Generally, people say they find happiness in their passion, but does everyone have passion? Can people bring happiness?
While asking around in NYC, a 27-year old male, said he is still searching for his happiness. When asked a series of questions pertaining to how he knew when he was happy he couldn’t come up with an answer. Certainly he did mention some insight on how he knows he will achieve his happiness. “Finding a balance between your passion and what you actually want to do with your life. I regret some days not going to med school, but then I remember how much of my 20’s I would have missed out on. I wouldn’t change how far I have come but I will forever have in the back of my mind that passion for people’s welfare.”
On twitter, tweets surfaced on how no one really knows when they’re happy, it’s a feeling. It is an indescribable and uncontrollable feeling that happens on its own. There is no real answer to this question nor is there any right or wrong answer. Happiness is definitely something achievable but how it comes to a person is still unknown.
